A general guide to BWD pricing. Prices are not completely firm, but a pretty safe bet. We always try to work within your budget.

WEB DESIGN: INITIAL SET-UP COSTS
Initial Concept/Design Work	This stage begins once a deposit for new work has been received. A general layout of ideas, color schemes, site map, etc. Sample(s) will be given for approval. We do not leave this stage till you are satisfied.	1-2	Included
Initial Website Set-Up	We offer several packages for hosting services and domain name registration. Securing the domain name (www.yourname.com - starting at $15/yr) and the website host. Package prices vary, billed annually. Click here for information on our hosting packages.	N/A	Varies
Main Layout/Design	This is where I turn the concept into an interactive and perfectly working website. Thorough testing is done to ensure every image is properly placed, text is correctly aligned and every link works properly. Tests are performed on several browsers in several operating systems.	10-40	$80/hr
Tweaking	This is where we go through together and make sure everything is as it should be content-wise and appearence-wise. This time is only billed if there are major changes to the site.	1-2	FREE
WEB DESIGN: ONGOING/MAINTENANCE COSTS
Regular Maintenance	Updating content, and appearance, and general design updates on a monthly or other incremental basis.	N/A	$80/hr
Hosting/Domain Services (NOT bwd-graphics hosting)	Maintaining your domain and hosting package (NOT hosted by bwd-graphics.com). Prices vary according to your needs.	N/A	Varies
Training Optional	If so desired, I can instruct you personally in how to maintain and update your website. Very thorough and easy to understand. Perfect for churches who need to update weekly, and have someone who is willing to help.	1-3	$100/hr
OTHER SERVICES:
Search Engine Optimization & Social Network Integration	For existing websites, we'll increase your search engine rankings by optimizing your pages. Also, we submit your site to search engines once a month for three months. Base package starts at $100. For bigger sites, we charge our hourly rate above the base price.	Varies	$100
On-Site Tech Support	I offer very basic tech support such as software trouble-shooting, basic installation of hardware, networking issues, etc. If I am able to help, I charge my regular rate: $99/hr.	Varies	$100/hr
Graphic Design	Designing logos, creating posters and other print material, any sort of graphic design work for you or your ministry.	Varies	$80/hr
Audio Services	Conversion of analog audio (or from a CD) to digital formats, basic audio mastering, etc... Final product price varies. Audio CDs (Professionally Printed Disc, Jewel Case - $5/each). Insert, Tray Card, and DVD service available upon request.	Varies	per unit
Video Services	Conversion of analog video (VHS, other?) to digital formats. If creating a DVD, will create animated menus, chapters, etc. Final product price varies. DVDs (Professionally Printed Disc, Jewel Case - $10/each). Insert, Tray Card, and Shrink Wrap available upon request. Other formats available: iPod video, Web-ready, E-Mail size, RealVideo, WindowsMedia, Flash, AVI, etc. Main charge for converting audio or video is $50, includes conversion to one digital format. My general rule here is $80/hr is a fair price for graphic/web services and $50/hr for audio services, but we will completely and totally work within YOUR budget.

Minimum
A one-hour minimum charge is required for all new projects.

Deposit
Generally, for new work, we require that a non-refundable deposit be made upfront. If a hosting account is being purchased, any hosting set-up cost would also be due at the start of the project. The minimum deposit will be $250 (plus hosting costs, if applicable). If a large project, 50% will be due at the start of the project.

Rush Service
If rush service is needed, we generally add a 50% charge to any work needed within 72 hours of the request (if we are able to do the work). A 100% charge is added if the work is needed on the same day it is requested.

Late Payment Charges
When an invoice is sent out from BWD, the standard due date for payment of that invoice is two weeks from the date it is sent. (Invoices are emailed, so they are delivered immediately.) If payment is not received by one month from the date the invoice is sent, a 6% late charge will be added to the total billed. If the invoice remains unpaid, this 6% charge will be added monthly to the total balance, including any accrued late charges.

Reversal/Refund/Bounce Fee
If a payment is reversed, or bounces, or needs to be refunded for any reason, BWD reserves the right to assess a $35.00 processing fee. It will be assessed in a subsequent invoice.

Non-Profit Discount
If you are a non-profit organization, we offer you a 10% discount on our hourly rate. Contact us for details.
